This year, CRITICAL REFLEX took advantage of an action-packed weekend of summer games shows to drop a series of indie-lightful new trailers.
Announcements include a release window for roguelike deck builder ORX, iconic voice talent reveal for dungeon-crawling dating sim Freaked Fleapit, dreamy new gameplay for the pixel-perfect souls-like game Being and Becoming, and a demo for occult western adventure Rose and Locket.
ORX
Better play your cards right this summer! CRITICAL REFLEX has announced that ORX is set to release in August 2022, with an exclusive new gameplay trailer at the IGN Expo. The trailer shows exclusive new gameplay footage of the second faction available to players in ORX – a people who rely on warriors and trade routes to defend themselves, rather than fortresses.
ORX is a new take on the well-known tower defense genre, blending mechanics of popular deck building and tabletop games to create a truly unique experience. Grow your castle, expand your domain, and take a stand against the never-ending hordes of ORX!
Developed by johnbell and published by CRITICAL REFLEX, ORX is launching on PC (Steam) in August 2022.
Freaked Fleapit
Get down with the cutest grim reaper of your (un)life! Famous content creator LilyPichu is voicing Fasaria in the rhythm-based dungeon crawler and dating sim, Freaked Fleapit, as revealed at the IGN Expo.

Travel through the dark 2D realms of the Underwest! A haunting demo will be available this October for lightning fast action-adventure, Rose and Locket, revealed at the IGN Expo.
Rose, a retired outlaw, wanders through the fantastical spirit realm of the Wild West. Take up the once-forgotten skills of a gunslinger, wield awesome powers and journey along hand-painted, comic book-style landscapes on a quest to rescue your daughter’s spirit.
