Micron has unveiled the new Crucial T500 Gen4 NVMe SSD, designed especially to enhance performance for PS5 and PC gamers, photo and video editors, and content creators.
With sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,400MB/s and 7,000MB/s respectively, the Crucial T500 enables gamers to load games up to 16% faster and content creators to deliver up to 42% faster performance in applications. The drive is available in versions both with and without a heatsink and in capacities of 500GB (non-heatsink version only), 1TB and 2TB, making it the perfect choice for PS5 storage upgrades or UHD/8K+ videos – there will also be 4TB capacities available from next year.
