Tower of God, a Crunchyroll Originals series, has been a phenomenal success and is now the platform’s most watched show. As a thank-you to loyal fans, Crunchyroll has launched a worldwide art contest on Twitter.
Entrants are asked to submit illustrations of their favourite Tower of God characters via the social media platform and winners will be selected by SIU, the author of the original WEBTOON series along with character designers Masashi Kudo and Miho Tanino.
Winners will receive an illustration of the characters in a scenario of their choice from one of the judges.
Submission dates: June 8th 2020 – June 22nd 2020
Theme – as long as it is a Tower of God illustration, anything goes. Draw your favourite characters and send them in.
How to submit entries:
- Tweet your original Tower of God illustration with the hashtags #tog_fanart If you are in Japan, also use #JP and for all other regions, use #CR.
- Include the Tower of God characters (maximum 3) and the situation you would request if selected as a winner in the body of your tweet.
- Include hashtags such as #towerofgod or #tog so that your work is seen by more fans.
Prizes
1 Grand prize winner (chosen by SIU)
- Digital illustration and message from SIU.
- Work published on WEBTOON and anime-related official websites and social media.
2 Second place winners (chosen by Mashashi Kudo and Miho Tanino)
- Digital illustration of winner’s request and message from Mr Kudo and Ms Tanino.
