Crunchyroll is launching a new mini-series podcast entitled Anime in America that will showcase the rise of anime and its journey from Japan to Saturday morning cartoons in the States.
The podcast, hosted by Yedoye Travis, a comedian, actor, and writer from A|tlanta, will launch on July 28 with two episodes – new episodes will be released each week. The first podcast entitled In The Beginning There Was Fansubs, features Justin Sevakis, founder of Anime News Network.
There will be eight episodes in total and topics to be discussed include conventions, localised streaming, and much more.
Anime in America will be available for fans on crunchyroll.com, animeinamerica.com, and all podcasters (Google Play, iTunes, Spotify).
