Oktoberfest has arrived alongside Deep Rock Galactic’s wurst-ever in-game celebration!Starting from today 14 September and running until 3 October, dwarves can head to the Space Rig to enjoy a company-mandated Bavarian beer and bratwurst bash!
This event features two themed assignments, rewarding miners with the leder-est of hosens and headgear that Hoxxes IV has ever seen. Management has also been brewing up some fun new decor, with inflatable sausages and hay bales waiting in the Space Rig. Also brewed up is the return of the “Best Wurst Beer” in the Abyss Bar – however the designated steins are strewn throughout the mines and can be recovered in exchange for a double Performance Point bonus.

- Get dressed to impress with two festive assignments. Complete the ‘Hunt for Lederhosen’ assignment, and find a delicious pair of leather trousers and past Oktoberfest hats available to dress in. If vintage fashions don’t suit your fancy, dwarves can also unlock a brand spanking new‘Sausagebucket’ hat in the Oktoberfest Celebration Assignment.
- Maybe it’s Deja Brew
- The Best Wurst Beer makes a return to the Abyss Bar, which is joined by the addition of ambient biergarten noises to remove the negative connotations of drinking by yourself. Plus, the Space Rig has been decked out for the festivities with bay hales ready to be kicked and inflatable sausages ready to….eh nevermind. Anyway, the Launch Bay looks good sober but even better with beer goggles on.
- A pitcher perfect Performance Point bonus
- Longbeard Freight has lost its cargo, filled with mugs for the Best Wurst Beer, yet again. Rather than complaining about this shoddy delivery service, Mission Control is rewarding miners who find these tankards in the mines with a double mission Performance Points bonus.
