Ghost Ship Games and MOOD Publishing have announced a brand-new Kickstarter campaign packed with fresh content for Deep Rock Galactic The Board Game, launching today and running until August 1, 2025. Fans of the cooperative dwarf-mining chaos can now look forward to three exciting expansions: Rival Incursion, Horrors of Hoxxes, and the Shockwyrm mini expansion, each adding even more danger, depth, and fun to your tabletop adventures.

Horrors of Hoxxes: New biomes, deadlier dangers
Taking the mining exploits on Hoxxes IV to terrifying new depths, the Horrors of Hoxxes expansion introduces four stunning yet hazardous biomes:
- The vine-choked Hollow Bough,
- Glittering Crystalline Caverns,
- Sun-scorched Sandblasted Corridors, and
- The lush, perilous Dense Biozone.
But gorgeous landscapes come with deadly hazards. Players will need to navigate threats like electrocrystals that deliver lethal jolts and ejector cacti that hurl projectiles across the board. This expansion also piles on the pressure with eight new monstrous foes, including the terrifying Dreadnought Arbalest and Dreadnought Lacerator, each featuring their own custom action decks to keep your mining crew on their toes.
Rival Incursion: Industrial sabotage on the tabletop
For the first time, Deep Rock Galactic’s infamous Rival tech from Season 01 makes the leap from screen to table with the Rival Incursion expansion. Players tackle twelve Industrial Sabotage missions, dismantling power stations, confronting Patrol Bots and Burst Turrets, hunting down Data Vaults, and ultimately facing off against the devastating Caretaker boss. Lurking in the dark? The devious Nemesis, designed to hunt down and pick off unwary dwarves.
Shockwyrm: Because you weren’t paranoid enough
The standalone Shockwyrm mini expansion ups the ante for any mission. This electrifying new creature burrows beneath the surface, striking at range or up close with stunning shock attacks that can ruin even the best-laid plans. It comes complete with its own set of action event cards, injecting more chaos into every dig.
