DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO is set to revolutionize the DRAGON BALL gaming experience, offering players the opportunity to shatter the heavens with unparalleled power. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has unveiled two new videos showcasing the explosive abilities of the game’s powerful characters as they clash in intense battles.
In the gameplay showcase video, DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO producer Jun Furutani guides viewers through the action-packed gameplay, unveiling the full UI interface and highlighting beloved mechanics such as Impact Actions, Dragon Dashes, and Beam Clashes. Additionally, Furutani introduces new mechanics like Short Dashes, allowing for explosive bursts of speed to create openings, and Revenge Counters, enabling players to absorb and return opponents’ attacks.
With lightning-paced combat, destructible environments, and stunning visuals powered by next-gen platforms, DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO is poised to be the long-awaited sequel to the revered DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series, following a hiatus of more than 15 years. The game will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
The latest trailer showcases a clash of power and speed, revealing the newest additions to the playable character roster, including beloved characters like Super Trunks, Master Roshi in his Max Power form, Nappa, Burter, Jeice, Super Saiyan Broly (Full Power), Hit, Super Saiyan Kale (Berserk), Toppo, Dyspo, and Kakunsa.
