The Esports Awards has announced one of the world’s leading full-service travel brands, Expedia as the Official Travel Companion of the 2021 Esports Awards. Expedia will work closely together with the Esports Awards on creating a number of ‘epic moments’ for attendees, viewers and fans showcasing the globality of the awards. Expedia will be organizing several co-streams for the night of the awards with creators in different regions and dialects to create an encompassing awards platform and an ultimate global celebration.
In its sixth year, the Esports Awards will return to the Esports Stadium Arlington, Texas on November 20th. As the only dedicated event that honours every corner of the industry, the Esports Awards will present over 37 awards throughout the evening. Expedia will sponsor the Esports Coach of the Year award which will be presented by a very special guest as it looks to cement its commitment to the competitive gaming space.
The annual award ceremony will play host to some of the biggest faces in the world of competitive gaming, streaming and internet culture. Following on from the enormous success of last year’s virtual awards with a record-breaking 15.6 million viewers across the campaign and 5.1 million votes counted, the evening promises to be one of celebration, innovation and excitement. Nominees include some of the biggest names in the esports industry and beyond including FaZe Clan, League of Legends, 100 Thieves, CAA, BMW and State Farm.
