For as long as I can remember I have always wanted that dream gaming room set up so does the Flexispot E7 PRO do it for me?. Where you have the dream desk, flashy showcase PC, and Gaming Consoles while having multiple screens that make you look like a tech wizard you see in films. TikTok has but more influence on this dream as there are loads of people showing off their setups and gaming room which made me think that I need to get a move on and start making this dream a reality.
The PC is out of the question for now as the one I have my eyes on is £4,000+ and to be honest my current PC is good enough still to run a lot of the games I’m currently playing so it isn’t an urgent upgrade. However, I felt like the best thing to tackle first would be my desk. The current one I have I have had for a few years now and covered on the site but it felt like it didn’t accommodate everything I needed it to and didn’t suit my vision for the setup I had in mind.
A lot of the setups that I liked were the ones where people would use the bench from Ikea and turn it into a study and solid base. A simple but clean desk that could fit everything. FlexiSpot kindly reached out and brought to my attention the E7-Pro and what can I say, it was love at first sight.
First impressions
My first impressions were these boxes were huge I hope they wouldn’t weigh too much, funny enough the smaller package was the one that weighed the most. I needed all hands on deck getting that part upstairs but was able to manage doing the big one on my own. After the struggle of going up a few stars it was time for me and my brother to assemble said desk. This would be our first time putting together an adjustable desk and it didn’t take long to figure out where all the weight was coming from.
It was the adjustable leagues and frame. In all honesty, it was straightforward and the instructions were perfectly laid out and made sense, not like some of IKEA’s flat-packed furniture but we won’t go there. Once assembled it looked beautiful and was everything I could have hoped for in a desk but immediately we realised our huge mistake. We’d put the desk together in the nursery, not the bedroom.
For what seemed like hours we slowly but surely moved the desk into its intended location undamaged, imagine the scene from Friends where Rachel, Rose, and Chandler were trying to take the sofa up the stairs that was me, my brother, and fiancé moving the Flexispot E7 PRO. Please don’t make our mistake and build the desk in the location where it will be living. Once everything was in place I was able to put the Flexispot E7 PRO to the test and adjust to my new setup and work space for the foreseeable future.
I might stand up and work today
One of the main features I was looking forward to with the Flexispot E7 PRO was the adjustable height. I have seen these online and thought the feature was cool even more so if I’m gaming or working for long periods as I do like to stand up and go for a walk. So having the ability to stand at my desk now is super cool and one that I miss when I go to work. This desk is perfect for anyone who might struggle to find a desk that suits their height as you have the potential to make sure everything lines up perfectly no matter your size.
My fiancé is on the small size and she loves the fact that she can adjust the desk to suit her when she is using her Mac on the Flexispot E7 PRO. It’s just funny when I come back to the desk and have to raise it a few feet to make it suit me. Jokes, it’s not that much of a difference but it is noticeable if I wanted to have the proper posture when at the desk. I love the keypad, its simple design and easy-to-use features make using the Flexispot E7 PRO a dream and it even comes with Child Lock which will come in handy when the little one is bigger.
It also has memory presets where with a simple touch of a button can go to the perfect setting without having to play around with the up and down arrows. This desk makes me laugh as when you are raising it, it goes fairly slowly and reminds me of those comedies where stuff goes up and down in a comedic way and everyone is just waiting around for it to stop.
I went with the Black frame and Mahogany colour option for my E7-Pro which costs a staggering £629.98. To be honest with it being an investment rather than something I’m looking to keep changing every year a forever desk at this price is decent and one that I’d be happy to spend this sort of money on.
I’m also hoping to start streaming soon and I believe that this desk has more than enough space to have everything on it that I will need and not feel super cramped like my old desk did. One feature that I keep forgetting but is handy is the keypad has a built-in USB charging port which allows me to charge my devices while at my desk. I love putting a film on my tablet while gaming or working and the battery on that drains way too quickly so this feature is one that I utilize a lot.
Wait, no RGB are you feeling, okay?
Yes, you read this header right, for someone who in the past has expressed his love for everything RGB you might think I would have been upset that this desk doesn’t have built-in RGB but everything else in my setup has RGB which is visible as well as countless accessories in my room that make it look like the Vegas main strip so I could sacrifice the RGB light this time around as everything else about this desk makes up for it.
I love how clean and tidy the under area is, there is plenty of legroom and under desk space which for this 6-foot plus gamer was missing with the last desk, can’t remember the number of times I caught my legs on the bars but not any more thanks to the Flexispot E7 PRO design. The cable management areas and cover help hide all the cables and keep them tidy and out of sight, which is perfect as there is nothing worse than accidentally unplugging or getting tangled in the wires of your setup while gaming.
The C-Leg design is amazing and the concealed cable management cover is magnetic which allows for easy removal when adding or taking things away. The Flexispot E7 PRO has blown me away with its simplicity but elegance.

Conclusion
To Conclude, The Flexispot E7 PRO is the starting block in my dream setup and with the also recent addition of the FlexiSpot BS12 Pro Chair, the setup is becoming more of a reality. You might think it’s pricey being £629.98 but quality does cost and you get that with everything. If you are willing to spend big you get the best back and that’s what the case is with the Flexispot E7 PRO. It is one negative that people might have but I’m on the fence with it as I would pay it but can see why some might not.
The sleek Black frame with the beautiful Mahogany is so nice and I love it. The ability to adjust the height and have a clutter-free space is amazing and I find myself wanting to use my work space more and more rather than sitting in the living room. The C-Legs, cable management, and extra leg space are brilliant and it wins the best desk to date that I have used. When I’m at work I miss not being able to adjust the height of the desk, I suppose it’s a luxury I will only have a home.
For anyone in the market for a new desk and willing to invest, I would recommend checking out the FlexiSpot E7 Pro as it is simple but perfect and I’m so happy that I have this desk as my desktop and can’t see me wanting another desk. For those reasons, I’m giving the Flexispot E7 PRO a score of 9 out of 10.
