Join Free League Publishing in strange and wondrous worlds at the international game convention SPIEL.digital 2020, October 22–25, the world’s biggest fair for board games. The event schedule includes interviews, panel debates and Actual Plays for the publisher’s award winning tabletop roleplaying games.
Prepare for adventure – the line-up includes the three latest game releases: The official ALIEN – the Roleplaying Game, the pitch-black apocalyptic fantasy RPG Mörk Borg and the Nordic horror RPG Vaesen.
Included in the event schedule are also the retro-fantasy survival Forbidden Lands, the alternate ’90s Things from the Flood RPG and the alternate ’80s Tales From the Loop, the science fiction RPG Coriolis – The Third Horizon, the dark fantasy game Symbaroum and the post-apocalyptic Mutant: Year Zero.

Thursday, Oct 22 7:00 PM CEST – Live Panel: Fantasy Worlds Collide – The One Ring, Symbaroum & Forbidden Lands
What is your ideal fantasy world? Is it the sleepy villages of the Shire, the dark depths of Davokar, or the frozen wastes of the Bitter Reach? Whatever you are looking for when you explore a fantasy world in a tabletop roleplaying game, Free League will likely be able to offer it to you.
Between games such as Symbaroum, Forbidden Lands, and the upcoming The One Ring, you have a variety of fantasy worlds to explore. But how do you implement the rules of the Year Zero engine to guide gameplay in different genres? How can you use it to write scenarios and create content? Live Q&A with Free League’s rules master, Tomas Härenstam where he reveals how he creates a system that facilitates storytelling and creates a better play experience. Also joining is Dave Semark from Effekt to give his insights on how he used the Year Zero Engine to get his start in the tabletop roleplaying game industry.
