Even in a fairly quiet week – it’s like there’s something else big happening on Thursday 😉 – there are some fun updates for GeForce NOW. In addition to this week’s Game Ready on GeForce NOW releases bringing new games to the GeForce NOW library, we have a few other items to share with you:
- Become the strongest Avenger, even if your rig is puny
- Get 1-year of GeForce NOW and Watch Dogs: Legion with GeForce RTX 30 Series GPU purchase
- Fortnite with RTX coming soon to GeForce NOW
Avengers Assemble on All Your Devices
Whether you’re playing from your PC, Mac, SHIELD TV, Android device or Chromebook, you too can assemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Marvel’s Avengers. GeForce NOW members can now live their Super Hero dreams in an original Avengers story brought to life by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix.
Marvel’s Avengers is an epic, third-person, action-adventure game that combines an original, cinematic story with single-player and co-operative gameplay. Assemble into a team of up to four players online, master extraordinary abilities, customize a growing roster of Heroes, and defend the Earth from escalating threats.
Nvidia is thrilled to make this game available for all GeForce NOW members. Excelsior!
GeForce RTX 30 Series Bundle – 1-year GeForce NOW Membership and Watch Dogs: Legion
Earlier this month, we introduced GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs to the world. On Thursday, September 17, GeForce RTX 3080s go on-sale with a special GeForce NOW benefit.
New purchases of a GeForce RTX 30 Series GPU, or a pre-built GeForce RTX 30 Series PC at participating partners, will receive a 1-year Founders membership to GeForce NOW, plus a PC digital download copy of Watch Dogs: Legion. That way, you’ll have GeForce quality gaming on your other devices and when you’re away from home. You can find more info on the bundle here.
Fortnite with RTX, Coming to a Cloud Near You
Fortnite PC gamers with RTX GPUs are getting a major upgrade on September 17, with the addition of ray-traced effects and DLSS. In the weeks ahead, these Fortnite enhancements will also be available to Founders Members when playing on GeForce NOW. Stay tuned!
Game Ready on GeForce NOW
When you fire up your favorite game, you’re playing it instantly. That’s what it means to be Game Ready on GeForce NOW. The experience has been optimized for cloud gaming and includes Game Ready Driver performance improvements. NVIDIA manages the game updates and patches, letting you play the games you own at 1080p/60FPS across nearly all of your devices, including Chromebooks. And when a game supports RTX, it includes beautifully ray-traced graphics and DLSS 2.0.
This week brings a total of 5 games to the GeForce NOW library, including Marvel’s Avengers and the return of Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown. And when the Epic Vault opens to awesome free games each week, we’ll be right there working to bring those games to GeForce NOW too. This week’s free game is Stick It to the Man. Keep an eye out for confirmation on Thursdays once we’ve onboarded new game launches.
