In addition to this week’s Game Ready on GeForce NOW release, Nvidia have a few other bits of news to update you on:
- GeForce NOW gains support for NVIDIA Freestyle game filters
- Destiny 2 joins the expanded NVIDIA Highlights lineup, adding smart pattern and image recognition in our cloud servers to automatically detect key moments in games
- The Steam Summer Sale is heating up with over 100 instant access games participating
Style Freely
NVIDIA Freestyle — game filters that let you apply post-processing filters on your games while you play — are rolling out to GeForce NOW members.
Change the look and mood of your game with tweaks to color or saturation, or apply dramatic post-process filters like HDR. Freestyle is integrated at the driver level for seamless compatibility with supported games.
Available in GeForce NOW’s PC and macOS apps, members can use the in-game overlay (CTRL-G on Windows or Cmd-G on macOS) to apply filters, adjust keyboard shortcuts, view your Gallery, and a whole lot more. We can’t wait to see the creativity our members will use in their favorite games!
Those Highlights Came From The Moon
This week, Nvidia are excited to add new NVIDIA Highlights support for Destiny 2. Bungie’s free-to-play multiplayer shooter now uses our smart pattern and image recognition to automatically detect and capture gameplay moments, so Guardians can share their completed raid, stunning Crucible victory, or luckiest engram drop. This expansion of NVIDIA Highlights will continue rolling out to more users in the weeks ahead.
Destiny 2 joins a growing list of games with Highlights. The full list of games can be found here. Stay tuned to see which games get support next and when we add macOS support!

Game Ready on GeForce NOW
The GeForce NOW commitment to release more instantly accessible games to our members every week continues with this week’s installment of Game Ready on GeForce NOW Thursdays.
When you fire up your favorite game, you’re playing it instantly. That’s what it means to be Game Ready on GeForce NOW. The experience has been optimized for cloud gaming and includes Game Ready Driver performance improvements. NVIDIA manages the game updates and patches. And when a game supports RTX, it includes beautifully ray-traced graphics.
This week features a total of 12 games, including new and recent launches like Trackmania.
And when the Epic Vault opens to awesome free games each week, we’ll be right there working to bring those games to GeForce NOW too. This week we’re working on Conan Exiles and Hue. Keep an eye out for confirmation on Thursdays once we’ve onboarded new game launches.
