This GFN Thursday we look at one of the many ways GeForce NOW brings the spirit of PC gaming to life by celebrating the hundreds of multiplayer games streaming on the service.
And, since we’re in the summer lull where everyone is gaming, but major game releases are few and far between, now’s a great time to put together a “Best Multiplayer Games on GeForce NOW” list. Here are a few of our faves (which also happen to be among the most popular on GeForce NOW):
- Among Us
- Apex Legends
- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- Destiny 2
- Dota 2
- League of Legends
- Team Fortress 2
- Valheim
- World of Tanks
Other popular games to choose from include Fortnite (might’ve played it a couple times), Rust, Terraria, War Thunder, Hunt: Showdown and Phasmophobia. With more than 400 multiplayer games available, and more added every GFN Thursday, you’ll never run out of choices. See for yourself by searching for “multiplayer” in the GeForce NOW app.
In addition to only being available on most of the GeForce NOW’s supported platforms — PC, Mac, Chromebook, SHIELD TV, iPhone, iPad and Android devices — because of the cloud; members also get the benefit of tapping into the PC community, leading to lobbies of millions of players from around the world.
This week’s games joining the GeForce NOW library features a pair of new/recent multiplayer games:
- Sword of Legends Online — a new action MMORPG launching day-and-date with the Steam and Epic Games Store release. The game mixes PvE and PVP elements with sophisticated combat mechanics in a world inspired by Chinese mythology.
- Call to Arms – Gates of Hell: Ostfront — the historically accurate RTS which was recently released on Steam by Barbedwire Studios and Digitalmindsoft. Control single infantrymen in audacious raids and entire tank regiments in the greatest battles of the war.
- Crowfall — a new MMORPG that recently launched on the Native Launcher by ArtCraft. Choose your battle: massive PVP sieges, raiding parties, world domination, and more.
