This GFN Thursday brings the newest GeForce NOW app update. Version 2.0.36 includes a new feature linking NVIDIA and Ubisoft accounts to enable faster Ubisoft Connect game launches by automatically logging in to a user’s account. Players can now skip the sign-in process and jump right into their favorite Ubisoft games.
The update also improves the streaming experience on Mac, giving members the ideal aspect ratio on the Apple MacBook Pro M1 Max and continuing to support GeForce NOW transforming nearly any Mac device into a high-end gaming rig with the power of the cloud.
With the improvement to the streaming experience on Mac, this GFN Thursday also takes a look at how GeForce NOW transforms Macs into powerful PC gaming rigs — delivering 1600p gaming on M1 Macbook Air or Macbook Pro for RTX 3080 members. Yes, that’s right, PC gaming is not just possible on a Mac, but playable with legendary GeForce quality.
And it’s not GFN Thursday without new games, including four day-and-date releases:
- White Shadows (new game launch on Steam, December 7)
- Monopoly Madness (new release on Ubisoft Connect, December 9)
- Anno 1404 History Edition (free on Ubisoft Connect, December 6-14)
- Prison Architect (free on Epic Games Store, December 9-16)
- Super Magbot (Steam)
- Untitled Goose Game (Epic Games Store)
