The National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers (NAVGTR), a non-profit media organization of 1,100 media voters and 8,800 subscribers, has announced the winners of its 18th annual video game awards program.
God of War (2018) was named as the Game of the Year, and won a record-breaking 16 awards, besting the previous record of 15 held by The Last of Us in 2013. Sony Interactive Entertainment led all studios with 23 total awards, including three each for Marvel’s Spider-Man and Detroit: Become Human.
