GreedFall The Dying World Reveals Playable Companions

NACON and Spiders have released a new video showcasing the companions of GreedFall The Dying World. Currently in Early Access on Steam, the definitive version launches on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S on March 12, 2026.

Companions Shape Combat and Story

Players will meet eight companions throughout their journey. Allies are vital in combat and narrative choices, each with a unique skill tree reflecting their background. Players can customize abilities to create a balanced team for battle. Beyond combat, companions offer personal quests that explore their history, ambitions, and relationships, allowing friendships, rivalries, or romance to develop depending on player decisions.

Meet the Companions

Alvida – Voiced by Tracy Ifeachor (Starfield, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor). A rebellious member of the Naut guild, expert in navigation and maritime exploration, driven by a strong moral compass.
Fausta – Voiced by Genevieve Gaunt. A Thélème spy from a noble family, sociable and diplomatic but discreet in private life.
Ludwig – Voiced by Sam Woolf (The Witcher, Season 3). A former soldier turned smuggler, sarcastic and abrasive, with deep resentment toward those harming the poor.
Nílan – Voiced by Atilla Akinci. Childhood friend of the protagonist, training to become a Doneigad and a guardian of Teer Fradee’s knowledge.
Safia – Voiced by Jacqueline Boatswain. Anti-imperialist affiliated with the Bridge Alliance, seasoned explorer and firearms expert.
Sheda – Voiced by Jess Nesling. Fierce warrior and protector from Teer Fradee, committed to safeguarding the protagonist and Nílan.
Sybille – Voiced by Camilla Aiko. Born into the Merchant Congregation, initially distrustful but fiercely loyal to those who earn her trust.
Till – Voiced by Dario Coates (You, Dying Light: The Beast). Former Coin Guard captain seeking redemption, specializes in protecting allies and seasoned combat experience.

Each companion provides unique gameplay options and story-driven content, making teamwork and player choices critical in shaping the world of GreedFall: The Dying World.
