“Battles of History” is made up of 4 distinct battles ranging from 15 to 25 minutes, in which we’ll be asking players to test out and give feedback on one of the cornerstones of Humankind gameplay: the fully tactical battle system, played directly on the game map. For those who missed out on Scenario #1 “Towers of Babylon”, or want to replay it, it will be available as well. We recommend playing the scenarios in order.

This scenario is available now through Monday, August 10th at 07:00 PDT / 15:00 BST / 16:00 CEST.
A few key things to remember:
- Scenarios are time limited – each will be available from Thursday at 15:00 BST / 16:00 CEST / 07:00 PDT through Monday at the same time.
- We will grant access to additional applicants with each new scenario – so players should keep checking their email in the coming weeks.
- Getting access later grants access to all previous scenarios – In fact, we would prefer that newcomers play the scenarios in order as they have a bit of an onboarding logic to them.
- Applications will remain open during the entire process – Even if players weren’t selected for this first round, they can still apply here for a chance to be included in the 2nd or 3rd wave of players.
