GAME Esports and Events* proudly announces its global expansion of the Insomnia Gaming Festival – the UK’s best and longest-running Gaming & Esports event, with the aim of becoming the world’s unrivalled gaming festival experience.
With over 20 years’ experience in the UK, Insomnia now attracts 70,000 consumer footfall per event, and its social channels having grown by over 95% in the last 12 months. Insomnia has continued to evolve and partnered with Activision to bring Call of Duty World League to the UK, and also hosted official events for Riot and i-Series Drone Racing Championship.
Off the back of these successes in the UK, Insomnia today confirms multi-year agreements with some of the planet’s premier event’s organisers who will help propel Insomnia to new fans across the world, including Egypt and Dubai, with Saudi Arabia, South America, and Australia to follow shortly.
The partnerships include The Global Event Management Group, one of the leading events providers in the UAE and across the Middle East with over thirty years’ experience. BME Global Ltd, an international events company with expertise in organising events in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf, and North Africa are also on board.

The first International Insomnia event will take place in Cairo on October 2018, followed by similar events in Dubai in 2019. The event will cover all gaming from Minecraft to Esports, as well as popular zones such as Retro Gaming, Cosplay, Indie Zones and exciting stage content.
The largest & best gaming Event in the UK, Insomnia63 will take place at the NEC this August 24th – 27th.
