Many people think that video gaming is a diversion for children. But the reality is that esports is the fastest-growing segment within the entire sporting world, with 11.7% increase in popularity in 2020 alone.
Taking a list of the top 10 teams* and their top player, the researchers at SlotsUp ranked each gamer against one another. Considering several factors such as social media presence, earning and the number of official tournaments won.

Despite his recent retirement, the gaming legend Jesse Vainikka is the most valuable player, according to the SlotsUp 2020 Esports Index. Earning a total of £6.4 million the two time TI champion “JerAx” is the second-highest earner in the esports league.
Ivan B. Ivanov, known as MinD_ContRoL, followed in second place with a total of 73 tournament wins and a total earning of £4.5 million.
