Konami has announced that PES 2018 Mobile has been updated to PES 2019 Mobile, porting the console title seamlessly to mobile devices using UNREAL ENGINE 4.
In a world first for football games, the implementation of UNREAL ENGINE 4 allows players to live and breathe every magical moment of the beautiful game with an unprecedented level of visual fidelity. With more than 8,000 smooth player animations, unique team play styles, enhanced ball physics and goal celebrations, player personalities are more distinct than ever before.
The updated mobile title will allow players to complete in several different modes. Go head-to-head against friends in “Local Match” mode for an intense 1v1 experience or gather a group of friends to create bespoke tournaments with “Local League” mode. “Friend Match” mode lets players quickly and easily jump into a match with any user on their friend list, while “Online Match” mode enables them to take on a global challenge, participating in weekly events to win rewards and train their teams to vie for world dominance.
Official licenses from a further 12 new leagues from around the world have been added to the mobile game. From Europe, the Russian league makes its debut as a PES exclusive, alongside leagues from Belgium, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, and Turkey. New South American leagues from Argentina and Chile have also been added, alongside Thai and Chinese leagues, and the long-awaited Japanese J.LEAGUE.
Exclusive legend players, such as Beckham, Zico, Romario, and world-renowned legends like Cruyff, Nedved, Gullit, Maldini, and Oliver Kahn will continue to appear in PES 2019, with new legends to be added throughout the season.
The mobile port also introduces a new myClub feature, and includes several campaigns as those from the console version of the game. Players that performed well in the previous weekend’s matches will also become available as “Featured Players” with boosted stats based on their match performance, with some even receiving new skills. Special versions of players from the sport’s most iconic teams will also be made available throughout the season, including partner clubs like FC Barcelona and Liverpool FC.
Information on the latest transfers and individual player performance from real-life matches will be reflected in-game on a weekly basis, enabling players to keep up to date and stay ahead of the competition.
