KONAMI has announced the details of its esports eFootball competition, due to kick off in December. Powered by eFootball PES 2020, KONAMI brings public tournament, eFootball.Open, and Pro tournament, eFootball.Pro, to the masses.
In summary:Â
- eFootball.Open is an esports tournament open to all players, competing exclusively in 1v1 matches and replaces the previous PES LEAGUE competition
- Only eFootball.Open players at the highest “Expert” level will have the opportunity to progress to Regional and then World Finals
- eFootball.Pro, is KONAMI’s elite tournament that will only include professional, real-world football clubs from Europe playing with authentic squads
Competition timings:Â
- Online Registration – Mid-November 2019
- Online Qualifiers – December 2019 to February 2020
- Online Finals – February to March 2020
- Regional Finals – May 2020
- World Finals – July 2020
