Konami has announced the return and first details of the eFootball.League for the 2020/21 season, kicking off from December 7th.
eFootball.League is an esports tournament that welcomes competitors of all skill levels. As with last season, the series is divided into two divisions: eFootball.Pro, the elite competition exclusively for professional football clubs, and eFootball.Open, the amateur tournament open to all players.
In addition to FC Barcelona, Juventus, Arsenal FC, Celtic FC, FC Schalke 04 and AS Monaco, clubs that participated in the last season, KONAMI has revealed AS Roma will participate for the first time in the 2020/21 season.Other clubs participating in this season will be announced soon.
eFootball.Open – Starting December 7th
Last season’s eFootball.Open was a runaway success, amassing over 1.4 million tournament participants worldwide. Starting on December 7th, any eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE (PES 2021) console or mobile player will be able to participate in the Online Club Qualifiers.
eFootball.Open is available to all users and takes place in certain Matchday events that use preset teams. Meet the conditions set out in each stage of the tournament to earn eFootball Points*, a new type of currency that can be exchanged for various in-game bonuses.
The top performing competitors in each round will earn a place to proceed onward and may eventually be selected to compete in the World Finals in July 2021.

eFootball.Pro – Starting December 12th
With over 15 million total views on YouTube during the 2019/20 season, eFootball.Pro is back for the new season on December 12th with professional esports players representing some of the world’s biggest football clubs.
Continuing the mid-season change due to the ongoing pandemic, eFootball.Pro Matchdays during the regular 2020/21 season will be played online in 3v3 CO-OP matches. The elite participants have been selected by the competing football clubs, with these details set to be announced in the coming days.
As before, the eFootball.Pro clubs will be the same as those featuring in the eFootball.Open tournament, giving anyone the opportunity to climb the ladder and be considered by each club to join their professional esports team.
