E-learning portal Xcademy has announced it has partnered with world-renowned Esports and Fortnite player Benjy David Fish aka ‘benjyfishy’.
Launched in December 2019, Xcademy provides video tutorials from online personalities that have a collective following of over 10 million and teach students important life skills, as well as how to become an expert, Fortnite player.
Joel Morris (aka JMX), Co-Founder of Xcademy said,
“Having benjyfishy on board as a host and providing in-depth tutorials for our students is an exciting development for Xcademy. More young people are immersing themselves in Esports, a rapidly growing industry and one of our courses at Xcademy is designed specifically to help people become better Fortnite players.”
Benjyfishy qualified as a professional Esports player in 2019 and sprung to fame when he reached the Fortnite World Cup Finals held in New York, narrowly missing out to win. In 2019 benjyfishy’s total prize money earnings are estimated to have been £260,000(1), making him one of the highest-paid Esports professionals in the world.
Xcademy is continually adding more content by developing more Esports modules, more YouTube modules and other courses that are designed to provide young people with the opportunity to learn skills that they would not normally learn in school.
