Get ready for the biggest gaming extravaganza yet as the London Games Festival 2024 gears up to showcase over 45 events, featuring a diverse lineup of global developers and industry attendees.
Running from April 9 to April 25, the festival will spotlight a curated selection of indie games across five categories: Made in London, Best of British, International Innovators, Comedy, and New Voices. From the next game by Papers, Please creator Lucas Pope to the latest creations from London-based studios, there’s something for every gamer to discover.
Highlights include Mars After Midnight, the sequel to BAFTA-nominated Citizen Sleeper, and Crow Country from the creators of Snipperclips. With a focus on international talent, games from Brazil, Canada, the Philippines, and more will be showcased online and available to play in person on Steam Deck and Playdate handhelds.
The festival will also feature Side Events, including Ensemble, which celebrates underrepresented ethnicities in gaming, and the Games Finance Market connecting investors with creators. Plus, don’t miss out on tentpole partner events like Now Play This and the BAFTA Games Awards.
With over 4,000 industry professionals expected to attend, along with a projected in-person attendance surpassing last year’s 58,000, the London Games Festival promises to be an unmissable celebration of gaming culture and creativity. Supported by the Mayor of London and delivered by Games London, this year’s festival is set to be the most vibrant and inclusive yet.
