Super Rare Games has today announced the physical release of ‘Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime’ for Nintendo Switch. Only 3,000 copies of this well-loved indie title will ever be available – and pre-orders are live now at superraregames.com.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime was developed by Asteroid Base, a three-person studio based in Toronto, Canada, and has been received well commercially and critically since its launch back in 2015. The game was then releases on the Nintendo Switch in December of 2017, quickly becoming an essential for any video game enthusiasts.
The game involves pioneering a spaceship through a dangerous neon galaxy, only through teamwork and co-ordination will you be able to triumph over the evil forces of Anti-Love. Randomised level layouts mean that all players will be exploring unique areas with each play-through.
The Super Rare edition will include an exclusive sticker as well as three trading cards randomly selected from the five-card set. Excitingly, 125 of these cards have been signed by the development team of the game, Adam Winkels, Jamie Tucker and Matt Hammill – making some copies even rarer.
“Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime truly epitomises what we are trying to achieve at Super Rare Games, taking one of the funnest indie titles around and getting it onto the fans shelves,” said George Perkins, Super Rare games. “The game plays incredibly well both in single and co-op play. I cannot recommend this game more highly.”
Pre-order your copy now at superraregames.com for $34.99 / £29.99 / €33.99.
