Razer has announced a new partnership with MAD Lions, the fast rising, Madrid-based esports organization, owned by OverActive Media (OverActive). The partnership will be immediately visible during the LEC inaugural week with the Team Razer logo on the MAD Lions jerseys and with their players using Razer’s esports grade peripherals.
This 3.5 year-long deal will see MAD Lions players equipped with a wide range of high-performance Razer peripherals, including keyboards, mice, mouse mats, controllers, and broadcasting gear, as well as high-end Blade gaming laptops, enabling players to train and compete on the best hardware available for competitive gaming.
“MAD Lions achieved some amazing results last season, in both League of Legends and CS:GO,” said Yann Salsedo, Head of Esports (EMEA) at Razer. “We are looking forward to working with such a dynamic and energetic team, whose drive for success mirrors that of Team Razer.”
The partnership will also see MAD Lions players become involved in the development and testing of new Razer products, as part of Razer’s on-going R&D into new esports peripherals. Through using prototypes and early versions of new hardware and providing valuable feedback, MAD Lions will help Razer continue to create market leading, tournament winning pro-grade gaming hardware.
