To celebrate the opening of the flagship Microsoft Store on Oxford Circus, part of the new store will be transformed into an Xbox Showcase featuring some of the latestΒ Xbox exclusiveΒ games andΒ demoes directΒ from E3, which are playable for the first time in the UK. The event will take place at the flagship Microsoft Store on Oxford Circus from Thursday, 11thΒ July β Sunday, 14thΒ July where attendees will be among the first in the UK to get hands-on with ProjectΒ xCloudΒ βΒ MicrosoftβsΒ new game-streaming technology –Β and the chance toΒ playΒ Gears 5Β Escape.Β The event will also includeΒ Sea of Thieves:Β The Arena,Β Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions,Β Battletoads,Β MinecraftΒ and a range of the latest titles available through Xbox Game Pass.
To secure a spot for the event, anyone can pre-register for a limited number of 90-minute sessions, for them and a friend via the event registration site. So be quick! For those in London, the flagship Microsoft Store has also launched aΒ Whatβs in store?Β interactive billboardΒ todayΒ at Kings Cross, giving fans another opportunity to receive tickets to the event as well as a range of other gifts and experiences β read more here. For anyone thatΒ isnβt able toΒ make it down to the Xbox Showcase, the flagship Microsoft Store will also be hosting a global live stream on the 11th July. The live stream willΒ feature Raheem SterlingΒ andΒ John BoyegaΒ alongside some of the UKβs most well-known YouTubers,Β Miniminter, Aarav, Outside Xbox and Xbox On and will also provide a look at the exciting new gaming lounge at the flagship Microsoft Store. Starting atΒ 5pm BST theΒ fiveΒ hourΒ livestream, which will broadcast to Mixer and Twitch, will include some of the latest games on Xbox and include a variety of giveaways.
The flagship Microsoft Store on Oxford Circus is located at 253-259 Regent Street and is set to open its doors on 11th July.
