Hey there, gaming fans! Get ready for some epic action because Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios just dropped an awesome new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1! This trailer gives us a first look at the gameplay for the upcoming DLC guest fighter, Peacemaker, voiced and portrayed by the one and only John Cena.

Peacemaker, based on DC’s The Suicide Squad film and the Peacemaker series on Max, is all set to join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on Feb. 28 for Kombat Pack owners, and then on March 6 for everyone else. In the trailer, we see Peacemaker in action, showing off his gunslinging skills, signature helmet moves, and even his trusty bald eagle sidekick, Eagly. Plus, we can’t forget his killer dance moves and hilarious one-liners!
But wait, there’s more! The trailer also introduces Janet Cage, a new DLC Kameo Fighter and an alternate reality version of Johnny Cage. Janet brings some cool support moves to the table, and you can snag her as part of the Kombat Pack or as a standalone purchase in March 2024.
And guess what? Starting Feb. 28, Mortal Kombat 1 is getting Krossplay functionality on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). This means you can battle it out in 1 vs. 1 matches and even invite friends for private showdowns across all supported platforms!
