FUSER, the next evolution of interactive music game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, will hit retail shelves across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania thanks to a distribution deal between NCSOFT and Koch Media. Developed by Harmonix, creators of the Rock Band and Dance Central video game franchises, FUSER puts players in control of the music, where they can fuse together elements from hit songs by some of the world’s top artists. FUSER will release this fall.
FUSER requires no additional peripherals to play – as an immersive music sandbox, players will perform and create custom mixes as a headlining DJ at a virtual music festival. The physical release of the game will be supported by Koch Media’s experienced retail marketing and distribution teams across its local offices.
“As a game that celebrates all aspects of music and music festivals, Europe is a huge target market for FUSER,” said Randall Price, senior vice president of publishing at NCSOFT. “As NCSOFT expands into global multiplatform releases, we sought out Koch Media for their extensive experience, reach, and localized approach to the many different EMEA regions for distribution and channel marketing.”
Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO at Koch Media GmbH added:
“NCSOFT has an exemplary track record in the online PC games space and we have been privileged to work with them on the Guild Wars franchise in various territories for many years. So it’s an honor to now partner with them again as they transition to multiplatform releases. Our extensive network of physical publishing teams at Koch are amazed by FUSER’s potential and we can’t wait to help bring this game to market.”
