During a Pokémon Presents today, The Pokémon Company International revealed more details about the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, launching November 18, 2022.
Players will begin their journey in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet in the Paldea region, a land of vast open spaces dotted with lakes, towering peaks, wastelands, and mountain ranges. Pokémon also introduced five new characters and three new Pokémon, Fidough, Paldean Wooper and Cetitan who players will get to meet along their travels!
Pokémon also unveiled the Terastel Phenomenon – a phenomenon found in the Paldea region which makes Pokémon shine and glimmer like gems – as well as Tera Raid Battles which will occur when three other players team up to take on a Terastallized wild Pokémon.
Additionally, new updates for the Pokémon World Championships 2022 were also announced, in addition to in-game events for Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE and Pokémon Café ReMix.
