Konami has announced the addition of new and exclusive Legends to PES 2019 across all console and mobile platforms.
A new campaign in myClub on February 14th will see the exclusive introduction of Italian football giant Francesco Totti and Japanese legend Hidetoshi Nakata, adding to the roster of historic iconic stars in PES. In a separate campaign coming soon after, South Korean star Park Ji-Sung will also be added to the game, alongside a collection of AC Milan Legends.
Having spent his entire career at hometown club Roma, achieving great success winning the Italian League once and the Italian Cup on two occasions, Totti has not been featured in a gaming title since retiring in May 2017. However, the playmaker enjoyed the biggest success of his career with the Italian national team, becoming World Champion in 2006.
Nakata, often referred to as the “Japanese David Beckham” and one of his country’s greatest players, retired in 2006 after a 10-year career playing internationally and for seven seasons in the top-flight Italian League.
Not to be left out, Korean legend and the most successful Asian player in history, Park Ji-sung will join PES 2019 following his retirement in 2014. “Three-Lungs” Park, with his formidable pace and endurance, will be a strong addition to players’ myClub teams.
Continuing the game’s commitment to adding new Legends, thanks to the long term partnership with AC Milan, a future campaign will also see the introduction of four club icons: Dida (Nelson de Jesus Silva), Christian Abbiati, Franco Baresi and Daniele Massaro. More details on their availability will be made soon.
