Indie dev team, Onion Soup Interactive has announced that the eagerly anticipated sequel to cult classic Nippon Marathon is now live on Kickstarter.
This time the contestants are racing across the globe in brand new courses set in a multitude of international locations. The campaign aims to bring Nippon Marathon 2 to Steam, Nintendo Switch, and an exclusive arcade edition (published by exA-Arcadia) with further console support as stretch goals.
The developers now have the world as their playground and nobody is safe from their satirical take.
“As the Nippon Marathon kicks off in London, we just had to include the Houses of Parliament.”, says lead developer Andy Madin. “I mean, who wouldn’t want to barge through PMQs dressed in a lobster onesie?”
The race to the campaign goal has just begun, with mouth-watering stretch goals including (but not not limited to) online mode.
