CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, announce that Frederick “Freddybabes” Bird has won the November 2017 GWENT Open tournament, which took place this weekend in Warsaw, Poland.
Top 8 players of GWENTβs first Pro Ladder season competed in the tournament for Crown Points and a share of a $25,000 prize pool. Two finalists also secured a spot in the upcoming GWENT Challenger tournament, which will take place in December.
Frederick “Freddybabes” Bird advanced to the final after performing an amazing reverse sweep in his quarterfinal match against Pro Ladderβs highest ranked player, Andrzej βAdzikovβ Bal, and later defeating Jan βSuperJJβ Janssen.
