Oozi: Earth Adventure, An Old-School Platformer By Indie Studio, Released For PC

Oozi: Earth Adventure, an old-school platformer by independent developer Awesome Games Studio, is now released for PC. The game is available on the developer’s website, awesomegamesstudio.com, and also can be voted for on Steam Greenlight.

September 11th, 2012 – Oozi: Earth Adventure, an old-school 2D platformer by independent developer Awesome Games Studio, is now available to all PC platformer fans.

Most prominent features of Oozi: Earth Adventure are HD visuals and hand-drawn art, but despite its visual style, it is also good fit for hardcore gamers due to its optional Hardcore Difficulty and Challenge Mode. It tells the story of Oozi – an alien spaceship pilot, who crashed on a mysterious planet, lost his suit and needs to find his way home.

Oozi: Earth Adventure, as well as its free demo, is available directly on the developer’s website, awesomegamesstudio.com . It was also submitted to Steam Greenlight – a new system that enlists the community’s help in picking some of the next games to be released on Steam. Oozi’s Greenlight page can be accessed by visiting voteforoozi.com . The game is also available on GameHouse and it is scheduled for release on Big Fish Games later this month.

Oozi: Earth Adventure was previously released episodically on Xbox Live Indie Games service, and was awarded Finalist status in Dream Build Play 2011 contest.

Awesome Games Studio is a two-man indie team of experienced game developers from Poland. Both of them have decided to leave studios they used to work for to make their own games – games they wanted to play, rather than games they were paid to make.
