Surviving Mars, the sci-fi city builder from Haemimont Games and Paradox Interactive, is getting put to the test in a livestream with former NASA astronaut, Dottie Metcalf-Lindenburger. On September 1st, Metcalf-Lindenburger will be joining in on a livestream from the Paradox Twitch channel at 6-7pm PST. Sheโll be learning how to play Surviving Mars with Paradoxโs Susie McBeth while she comments on how the game differs or coincides from what real astronauts face while exploring space. The Museum of Flight, Haemimont Games, and space experts including Metcalf-Lindenburger, will be conducting a panel featuring analysis of the 2018 game, Surviving Mars, and discussion about the very real technological and psychological considerations that will go into colonizing Mars.
