PUBG Corporation is hosting the PGS Berlin: Europe Qualifier finals this week at Messe Berlin, Germany, where 24 of the region’s best PUBG teams will battle it out for a spot at PGS Berlin – the first PUBG Global Series event of the year. The qualifier finals will take place on 6,7,8 March from 17:00 CET each day, and will be live streamed on Twitch at www.twitch.tv/playbattlegrounds.
At the PGS Berlin: Europe Qualifier finals, competing teams will be split into three groups, A, B and C, with each group playing six games against one another – meaning each side will have to battle through 12 intense matches to compete for a spot at PGS Berlin. Match results will contribute to an overall leaderboard, with the top six sides progressing to the main event where they will face the best teams in the world for a share of the $500,000 USD prize pot.
The top six who progress from the PGS Berlin: Europe Qualifier finals to play at PGS Berlin will receive a minimum of $20,000 USD each. Teams that finish in 7-24th place at the PGS Berlin: Europe Qualifier finals will receive a share of a $60,000 USD Drop-In Bonus, with the amount depending on the final position of each roster. Those finishing between 7th-16th will receive $4,000 USD each, with 17th-24th collecting $2,500 USD each.
The PGS Berlin: Europe Qualifier finals will also feature top-tier esports talent including Kaelaris, Simms, Pansy, Frosz, Avnqr and James Banks.
