A Fresh Look at Classic Garden Warfare
The trailer gives players a glimpse of the beautiful reimagining of the classic backyard battlefield, featuring fully redrawn environments, smoother animations, and vibrant effects. Returning fans will spot plenty of familiar faces — and new players can look forward to discovering why this quirky, chaotic blend of flora and undead remains one of gaming’s most iconic experiences.
One of the trailer’s standout moments is the reveal of a hilarious new cameo — the Headcrab Zombie from Valve’s universe — making its debut later in the game. This crossover moment adds an unexpected twist to the classic formula, giving players a new way to experience the zombie mayhem.
New Modes, New Mayhem
Earlier this week, the team at PopCap Studios also released a Gameplay Deep Dive trailer, offering an extended look at Plants vs. Zombies Replanted’s new features and modes. These include action-packed mini-games and brand-new challenges such as Cloudy Day and Rest In Peace Mode, giving veterans and newcomers alike plenty of reasons to jump in.
Even better, Nintendo Switch 2 players can take advantage of Nintendo’s GameShare feature — teaming up or battling against each other locally using just one copy of the game. Whether you’re defending your lawn solo or bringing friends into the fray, there’s more than enough chaos to go around.
