KRAFTON has announced the PUBG Awards 2023. The return of the annual awards ceremony will celebrate another year of PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS and its newest map RONDO, honouring the community’s best moments, and recognising the passion of the player base.
From 8-16 January, players submitted their finest PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS clips and photos across six different categories. Starting today, voting is now open, letting the PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS community pick their favourite clips from players and content creators over the past twelve months, with six categories to choose from:
- Emperor – the best moments on the recently launched RONDO map
- EmpERROR – the funniest moments and fails on RONDO
- Wombo Combo – the best moments when teamwork makes the difference (any map)
- Clutch or Kick – the best moments when you carry the game solo (any map)
- Enthusiast – the best photos embracing PUBG lifestyle
- Family – the best moments from the PUBG partners
Voting closes on 24 January at 10:59 PM GMT, followed by a prestigious live awards ceremony livestreamed on Twitch on 25 January at 4:00 PM GMT. The ceremony will be hosted by PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS Community Managers Kruskay and TecK, and will showcase the iconic moments that only PUBG BATTLEGROUNDS can provide. There are also prizes to be won for anyone getting involved, whether submitting clips of their own, or just voting for their favourites. The prizes for PUBG Awards 2023 are:
- PUBG Awards 2023 Trophy
- PUBG-branded Razer products
- G-COIN
The PUBG Awards have been growing every year since the first edition in 2019. This year, they are expanding beyond Europe, including players from Turkey (TR) and the Middle East and Africa (MENA) for the first time.
