Corbie Games and publisher Iceberg Interactive have officially launched Railroad Corporation 2 Version 1.0, bringing the railway management and strategy title out of Steam Early Access and into full release.
After more than a year of continuous development — shaped heavily by community feedback — the 1.0 launch expands the experience with new systems, additional locomotives, and deeper economic gameplay designed to challenge even the most meticulous rail tycoons.
Railroad Corporation 2 is available now on Steam.
From Early Access to Full Release
Originally entering Early Access in October 2024, Railroad Corporation 2 has seen regular updates introducing new features, refinements, and balance improvements. Version 1.0 represents the culmination of that ongoing development cycle.
The full release integrates all previously introduced updates into a polished, complete package, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in building, expanding, and optimising their own railroad empire.
For returning players, 1.0 marks a major step forward. For newcomers, this is the definitive version to jump into.

What’s New in Version 1.0?
The full launch introduces several headline features that deepen both strategic and economic gameplay.
Legendary Locomotives
Version 1.0 adds new locomotives to the roster, including the legendary Big Boy. These additions expand strategic options and offer fresh approaches to designing efficient, high-capacity rail networks.
Active Player AI Competitors
The introduction of active AI-controlled competitors creates a more dynamic and competitive landscape. Players must now plan routes carefully, react to rival expansion, and adapt their economic strategies in real time.
Smart planning, timing, and adaptability are rewarded more than ever before.
Expanded Industry Chains
Economic depth also gets a significant boost. New industry chains introduce goods such as orchards, beverages, and canned products, opening up fresh logistical routes and expanded profit opportunities.
These additions encourage players to think beyond simple point-to-point transport and build interconnected supply networks that maximise efficiency and output.
Developer Statement
“We’re excited to welcome both new players and returning fans to experience the full release,” said Yurij Ishchuck, CEO of Corbie Games. “We’re looking forward to player feedback, as it will help us further polish the gameplay and implement further new ideas the community may have.”
Community-driven development has clearly been central to the game’s evolution, and the studio has indicated it remains committed to listening to player feedback post-launch.
