The Raw Fury team have all landed home safely (and we hope you have, too) after a wonderful experience in the beautiful city of Cologne. We want to thank everyone who came to chat with us, play some games, and get to know many of our brilliant and creative developers. Throughout the course of the week, we made a few announcements, so just in case you missed anything, here’s a quick recap!
Meet Deck-Building FPS Friends vs Friends
Our week of news began right away at Opening Night Live, premiering the announcement of Brainwash Gang’s online PVP deck-building shooter, Friends vs Friends. The animated trailer featured a glimpse at the riotous multiplayer gameplay as well as the game’s delightful, original theme song (which you can sing along to here).

Dome Keeper Release Just a Month Away
In June, developer Bippinbits released a robust demo for roguelite survival miner Dome Keeper. After hundreds of thousands of players dug in on Steam, we were thrilled to announce that the full game will release in just one short month, on September 27th. The reveal trailer premiered during IGN’s Awesome Indies at Gamescom.

Mr. Sun’s Hatbox Delivers a Whole New Level of Laughs
Finally, to cap things off, we also announced side-splitting roguelite Mr Sun’s Hatbox, created by award-winning solo developer Kenny Sun. The game alternates between procedurally-generated platformer missions and base-building and team management, carefully balancing a humorous tone with in-depth strategic moves.

On top of our three major announcements, our Gamescom week included a deep dive into the mechanics of Baby Robot’s Ereban: Shadow Legacy during Future Games Show, and we offered demos of Cassette Beasts, Kingdom Eighties, Superfuse, and Townscaper VR on the show floor.
