The Red Bull Flick Invitational, presented in partnership with gaming monitor professionals and esports experts from AOC Gaming, will take place this Sunday at 11am CEST on FACEIT live at Twitch.tv/redbull and the Red Bull Gaming YouTube channel.
The culmination of Red Bull’s first global CS:GO event will see 16 duos made up of some of the best teams in world, the brightest rising stars who have qualified through the Red Bull Flick global circuit, and larger than life CS:GO icons such as Ricardo “fox” Pacheco and Michaela “mimi” Lintrup battle it out for €20,000.
Red Bull Flick originated in Turkey and has been further developed by Red Bull for the global stage. Pairs of players will face off on a set of brand-new custom maps especially designed in house by Red Bull for the new game mode: Hold the Flag. The maps players will be competing on are RedbullHimalaya, RedbullSpeedWay, RedbullMatrix, RedbullGarden, and RedbullCastle. FACEIT is the organization and production partner for Red Bull Flick.
Discover whether the iconic Team Vitality duo of Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier, and the undisputed best player in the world Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut will reign supreme over İsmailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş and Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz from the #1 HLTV ranked team in the world BIG, or will underdogs who qualified through the global Red Bull Flick circuit shake up the competition.
The Red Bull Flick Invitational will see four groups compete in a Round Robin Group Stage, followed by a Single Elimination Tournament with the best eight remaining teams:
- 11:30 CEST – 15:43: Playoffs
- 16:45: Quarter Finals 1
- 17:30: Quarter Finals 2
- 18:15: Quarter Finals 3
- 19:00: Quarter Finals 4
- 19:45: Semi Finals 1
- 20:45: Semi Finals 2
- 21:45: Grand Final
