Red Bull’s first global Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition, Red Bull Flick, is coming to the UK, with the latest national qualifier taking place on September 12th.
Red Bull Flick is a 2v2 CS:GO tournament with a twist, giving amateur players from around the world the chance to show off their Counter-Strike skill set playing in new Red Bull custom designed maps. The winner of the Red Bull Flick UK Final will earn a once in a lifetime hands on coaching session with one of CS:GO’s biggest stars.
Red Bull Flick is a global 2v2 CS:GO competition, open to players around the world. For the first stage of Red Bull’s CS:GO tournament, over 19 countries are hosting standalone competitions including Germany, France, Croatia and the UK
The Red Bull Flick UK event begins with the latest qualifier at 12pm BST on September 12th and is now open for sign ups on FACEIT here.
Duos of players will face off in a new game mode: Hold the Flag, where players display their dominance and defend a flag zone for 45 seconds to win a match. Brand-new custom maps designed in house by Red Bull for the new game mode will see players competing across RedbullHimalaya, RedbullSpeedWay, RedbullMatrix, RedbullGarden, and RedbullCastle
Each qualifier will cut down the elite to simply two teams with winners and runners up from each qualifier joining the winner and runner up from the previous Red Bull qualifier in May to discover which duo really is the best in the nation, and will win a 1:1 coaching session with one of the biggest names in CS:GO.
Three UK qualifiers have been announced with details below, which will all take place on FACEIT:
- UK Qualifier 2: 12 September – 12:00
- UK Qualifier 3: 17 October – 12:00
- UK Qualifier 4: 7 November – 12:00
The success of Red Bull Flick is evident in the Red Bull Flick EU Pro Invitational which was held in August this year and broadcast live on Red Bull’s Twitch channel, which saw national competitors from Germany defeat some of the biggest CS:GO pros in the world to take home a huge cash prize of €20,000
