Not only that, but the cinema is launching the ‘NHS Heroes Ticket Offer’ which allows all NHS staff to benefit from a reduced ticket price of £8 for any film, at any time, until 1 September.
The cinema, which sits within the cultural hub of central London, just a two-minute walk North of Oxford Circus, is home to a diverse slate that prides itself in showcasing new voices and important stories, from all walks of life. This includes independent and studio films, adaptations, originals, remakes, Q&A screenings and event cinema.
With the cinema screening the first ever moving picture back in 1896, to becoming the go-to cinema for audiences to watch new releases in 4K or 35MM, Regent Street Cinema is always looking for ways to innovative their approach and bring the best experience possible for audiences.
This approach includes a new leadership team who have formulated a new programming strategy, new membership packages and an inclusive focus for the films screening in its historic auditorium.
Sophie Doherty, Content Manager at the Regent Street Cinema says:
Audiences have flocked back to UK cinemas with confidence & gusto, and we cannot wait to join the party. We are delighted to be able to offer such a strong & diverse opening line-up, from the rebellious but uplifting New-York-latin vibe of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s IN THE HEIGHTS, to the heartbreaking celebration of love and loss in SUPERNOVA, where Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci simply astonish with their touching performances. Leave the hub-bub of Oxford Circus & Regent Street behind as you walk through our doors, soak up the air conditioning, grab a drink, settle into your safeguarded seat, and immerse yourself in the incredible stories on our big screen.
Billy Watson, Executive Commercial Director at the Regent Street cinema says:
“We are so pleased to open and welcome guests back to the Regent Street Cinema. Our cinema is a special place that springs to life when people and film come together. As an independent we take great pride in catering for all tastes and look forward to creating the cinematic experience once again.”
