Warner Bros. Games has announced the exciting addition of Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice to the growing roster of characters in MultiVersus as part of Season 2: Back in Time.
New Characters
- Samurai Jack: From the Cartoon Network and Adult Swim action-adventure animated series, the katana-wielding warrior will be available when MultiVersus Season 2 launches on July 23. Flung into the future by the evil demon Aku, Samurai Jack is on a relentless quest to return to the past. As a Bruiser class character, his fighting skills utilize his mystical katana blade, agile footwork, and quick reflexes to dominate opponents. The gameplay trailer showcases his abilities and introduces the Righteous Warrior Jack character variant, available for in-game purchase on July 23.
- Beetlejuice: The troublesome ghost from the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, a sequel to the 1988 classic, will join the game later in the season. The new film hits theaters on Sept. 6 in North America and Sept. 4 internationally.
New Features and Maps
- Ranked Mode: Starting on July 23, players can participate in 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 matches to compete for leaderboard points and earn exclusive rank-based cosmetic rewards.
- Water Tower Map: Season 2 introduces the Water Tower map, where players can battle on the iconic Warner Bros. Water Tower, with surprise nods to popular Warner Bros. Discovery characters and franchises.
