Pearl Abyss announced that hero arena battle royale Shadow Arena has added a new mode to the game – Deathmatch. In this mode, two teams of five will be pitted against each other in a no holds barred race to be the first team to achieve 30 kills in the 20 minute match. Anyone who is killed will be able to revive after 10 seconds. While waiting to revive, players can change Heroes if they want to switch up their strategy.
Along with Deathmatch, several other features were added as a part of the free content update:
- Freeze bombs are obtained through hunting monsters. Not only do they deal considerable AOE damage, but they also stun enemies.
- Shadow Arena Special Events will begin today, continuing to pop up throughout the coming weeks. Rewards for completing matches scale up to 30,000 silver, 7 day pass unlocking all Heroes and a special in-game title. Log in to Shadow Arena to find out if it’s your lucky day!
