Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have revealed their Year 2 plans for the multi-million-selling Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, starting with the massive Anniversary Update launching on September 4. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game enters its second year with a mix of free content and a brand-new Season Pass loaded with Chapter cosmetics.

Year 2 Roadmap – Bigger Battles, New Class & More
Following the success of Year 1, Space Marine 2’s Year 2 will roll out six free patches throughout 2025 and 2026, bringing major new gameplay features and updates. Fans can look forward to:
- 4 new Operations & a new Siege map
- 2 new Eternal War arenas
- New Stratagems (PvE) and Helbrute Onslaught (PvP) modes
- New playable class: The Techmarine
- New weapons & free unlockable variants
- New enemies and fearsome bosses
- Expanded progression mechanics
The content push kicks off with the Anniversary Update on September 4, the game’s largest patch so far. Players can expect fresh modes, new enemies, and more ways to unleash destruction in the name of the Emperor.
Season Pass II – New Cosmetics & Chapter Expansions
Alongside the Anniversary Update, Season Pass II will drop its first two DLCs: the Black Templars Champion Pack and the Imperial Fists Cosmetic Pack. These include a new Champion skin for the Bulwark class, a Power Sword skin, and over 40 customisation items themed around the Imperial Fists and their seven Successor Chapters.
Throughout the year, players will get nine DLCs featuring new Champion skins, armour sets, and heraldry. Returning favourites like the Blood Angels and Salamanders will see new cosmetics, while long-requested Chapters such as the Raptors, Iron Hands, and Carcharodons will finally join the roster.

The fight for Humanity doesn’t end—on September 4, players can return to battle with Space Marine 2’s Anniversary Update, free for all on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
