During the Nintendo Switch 2 global showcase, Square Enix announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version of last year’s critically acclaimed RPG Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, along with brand-new trailers for FINAL FANTASY TACTICS – The Ivalice Chronicles and DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake. All three titles will launch across multiple platforms in addition to Nintendo Switch 2.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is now available, bringing enhanced visuals, faster loading, and smoother gameplay to this beloved 3D remake of the 1993 classic. Players will experience an epic, standalone journey spanning multiple generations as they build and protect their empire while battling the fearsome Seven Heroes in strategic turn-based combat.
Existing Nintendo Switch owners can purchase an Upgrade Pack to access this enhanced version.

This remake features the Free-Form Scenario system where player choices impact the story and succession of the throne. A brand-new story trailer was unveiled for FINAL FANTASY TACTICS – The Ivalice Chronicles, a legendary tactical RPG about ambition, betrayal, and honor set in the medieval Kingdom of Ivalice. Players will follow the tale of two childhood friends on opposite sides of a looming war.

DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake
The latest DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake trailer, revealed exclusively in the Japanese Nintendo Direct, introduced exciting new features — including the Princess of Cannock as a playable character in DRAGON QUEST II. This is her first appearance as a playable party member in the series’ history.
