Star Wars Galactic Racer, the high-stakes reinvention of podracing, was revealed during Sony’s State of Play. Launching in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game lets players experience intense racing across new and familiar planets in the Star Wars™ galaxy.
Take on the Galactic League
Players assume the role of Shade, a daring pilot recruited by league organiser Darius Pax to take down the corrupt Kestar Bool. As Shade, you’ll navigate a branching campaign, earning upgrades, parts, and tools to customise your repulsorcraft – from landspeeders and skim speeders to speeder bikes and podracers. Collaborate with mechanic Hibi to craft the ultimate racing machine and dominate the Galactic League.
Multiple Racing Modes
Star Wars: Galactic Racer features a variety of modes for solo and competitive play:
- Arcade Mode:Â Jump into instant races, time trials, and leaderboard challenges.
- Scenarios Mode:Â Race under unique conditions, from practice runs to hardcore tracks.
- Online Multiplayer:Â Up to 12 players battle for supremacy in fast-paced races.
