During a special livestream yesterday, the Star Wars The Old Republic team revealed all of the exciting updates coming in Game Update 7.4.1 Galactic Season 6 – “Building a Foundation” including the Copero Stronghold, Date Night Missions, new gear and items in the Galactic Season reward track and Cartel Market.
Star Wars The Old Republic Update 7.4.1 “Building a Foundation” VOD
- Galactic Season 6 – Building a Foundation: In “Building a Foundation” players will return to Copero where House Inrokini of the Chiss Ascendancy sees the changing times across the galaxy and wishes to learn what strengths the other sentients of the galaxy possess. It’s up to players to bring an understanding of galactic events to House Inrokini, in exchange for a discreet base of operations within Chiss space.
- Copero Stronghold: The Copero Stronghold can be unlocked through Galactic Seasons 6 and will serve as the hub for the story content for this season. At the completion of level 1 on the reward track, players will unlock the Stronghold and the first story mission. The next two story missions can be unlocked at levels 15 and 40.
- Date Night: A new narrative feature called Date Night has been introduced giving players personal time with their in-game love interest outside of the conflicts of the galaxy. In this Alliance Alert mission, players will be immersed in a cinematic-only scene unique to their partner’s interests, whether that’s going out for drinks at the cantina, a thought-provoking game of Dejarik, or maybe even some sparring practice. Initially, companions available for the new Date Night feature include SIS agent Theron Shan, Sith Lord Lana Beniko, Zakuulan captain Koth Vortena, and former Eternal Emperor Arcann, each having their own unique scene that exemplifies their character.
- Multiple playthroughs will help players earn unique rewards, including achievements, a title, and a new deco commemorating the date. These missions will be released alongside Galactic Seasons.
- New Galactic Seasons Reward Track: Players will be able to unlock new armor and weapons sets, a creature and mechanical mount, decorations and much more.
- Cartel Market Updates: Copero themed Stronghold Utility bundle that will be available in the Cartel Market. Players can find new modernization updates with the decorations in the original Stronghold Utility bundle as well. Gothic Master and Prime Centurion lightsabers and armor sets will be added to the Cartel Market. A new Red/Pink enhanced dye pack is now available until February 29th. A Green/Gold enhanced dye will be released sometime in March.
During the stream, the Star Wars: The Old Republic team provided a sneak peek at Game Update 7.5 “Desperate Defiance” which continues the storyline and takes players back to the planet Hutta. Players can look forward to seeing Lane Vizla’s story missions come to fruition, a Spring Event on Dantooine and more which will be announced in the next live stream.
