Under the glow of the January Full Wolf Moon, developer Rebel Wolves, alongside publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment, has shared a brand-new teaser for The Blood of Dawnwalker, offering another glimpse at what players can expect when the game launches in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The latest video, which you can watch here, introduces several new characters set to play key roles in the story, while also showcasing previously unseen locations from Vale Sangora, a mysterious region nestled deep within the Carpathian Mountains. The environments hint at a land filled with secrets, danger, and history waiting to be uncovered.
New Footage From the PC Beta
The teaser features gameplay captured directly from the current PC beta version of the game, giving fans a closer look at its dark fantasy tone, atmospheric world design, and visual direction. While still in development, the footage highlights the ambition behind The Blood of Dawnwalker, particularly in how it blends storytelling with exploration.

Cover Art and the Dawnwalker Revealed
Alongside the new teaser, Rebel Wolves revealed the game’s official cover art. It features the protagonist, Coen, a Dawnwalker cursed to live as a human by day and a vampire by night. He stands beneath a dramatic solar eclipse, symbolising the importance of celestial cycles within the game’s world and narrative.
The imagery reinforces the duality at the heart of the experience and hints at the moral and personal conflicts players will face throughout the journey.
A Musical Theme Rooted in History
The studio also debuted the main musical theme for The Blood of Dawnwalker, filmed during a studio recording session. The piece was composed by Nikola Kołodziejczyk, lead composer at Rebel Wolves, and performed by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of Tychy.
According to Kołodziejczyk, the theme draws heavily from instruments and sounds associated with the 14th century and the Carpathian region, aiming to stay as historically authentic as possible while reinforcing the game’s setting and atmosphere.
Looking Back — and Ahead
To stay in theme with the Wolf Moon, the developers also released a special retrospective video reflecting on the past year of development. The video looks back at the game’s first reveal, major gameplay showcases, and appearances at key industry events, all while highlighting the role of community feedback in shaping the project.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is being developed using Unreal Engine 5 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is currently available to wishlist, with more details expected to be revealed as development continues.
